Similarly to other pyramid-themed games, the player is shown the rooms one by one in a flip-screen manner, Montezuma's Revenge plays more like an arcade/adventure game, where you must pick up items to get further in the quest.

Is a decent conversion of Michael Jackson's famous musical movie into a game. It follows the same story as the movie where you play Michael Jackson on his quest to save the kids from the clutches of Mr. Big.
