Description
15x15 is a collection of picture puzzles with jumbled-up tiles for you to slide into place.
The game offers a top-down, fixed view of the puzzle. You can chose to play the puzzle in two
grid sizes— 3x3 or 4x4, and select from several pictures provided. As you solve more puzzles,
you unlock more pictures. The game scores you based on how many moves it takes you to complete
a puzzle starting with 999 points for the 4x4 grid size and 499 points for the 3x3 puzzles.
These are the maximum number of points you can make to solve each picture. It counts down the
points from this maximum with every new move you make. If you complete the puzzle in few enough
moves, you get to enter your name on the high score board.
A panel on the right side of the picture puzzle shows how the finished and assembled puzzle should
look. You can also keep of the number of moves you have made as you play. 15x15 offers
a single-player window and fairly solid graphics. With the abundance of pictures in the puzzle,
it can be quite entertaining. 15x15 developed by Nikita Ltd. and released in 1996 on DOS.
