Description
Your beloved Alien is back with exciting fun and games. ALF’s U.S. Geography is a DOS game from 1993 which
is still available for play. Set as an educational game, it presents children an exciting platform to learn
some geography and history of the U.S.
Once again, the game features ALF, the popular alien from the 80s T.V. show. The gameplay is simple and
alluring.
The videogame includes 4 lessons, and each tests the prowess and knowledge of children. The host here is
none other than ALF to test your child’s knowledge and curiosity.
Lesson 1 includes multiple-choice questions. ALF, the host, shoots a cannon of questions, and you must guess
what the right answer is. Children must guess from the multiple questions the correct geographical terminology.
Lesson 2 contains quizzes surrounding the knowledge of states and capitals in the U.S.
The highlight of the game is the map which includes all the 50 states of the United States. Although only
48 states are highlighted, you may search for 2 more in the game as the package claims covering all 50 states.
Lesson 3 again presents a set of quizzes that is a level higher. On clearing the first two lessons, ALF comes
with quizzes surrounding the landmarks and location. On the other hand, lesson 4 brings a timeline of guesses
about when the states were added to the union.
Coming to the lesson 5 allows children to take personalized prints of all the historical events and its
relevance. Alf’s U.S. Geography is a game to try out with a simple layout and engrossing educational concept!
