Description
The simulator game based on naval was released by Futura games in the year 1990. It was released for MS-DOS platforms. In the game, the players are capable of maneuvering and carrying out various functions of the ship manually. Enjoy three dimensional and actual time graphics in the game.
Accomplishing numerous goals
The game is played from the perspective of the first player in actual time. The player gets a map which helps him to locate places. The gameplay becomes highly varied with several objectives and goals. The player gets to face numerous enemies. Along with this, the player also has to defeat several types of ships and aircraft.
The video game does not feature any campaign. Advanced Destroyer Simulator gameplay is based on the mission. The missions of the game demand the player to find and destroy his enemies, go on escorting, patrol, hunt submarines and many more.
Experience combats of ship, torpedoes exchange and cannon fire. Near the bases of the enemies, the fighters of Stuka are needed to be shot using cannons. Furthermore, the submarines can be tracked using sonars and they can be attacked only when they are on the surface of the water.
The setting up of the plot
The plot of advanced destroyer simulator is set during the time of World War II. The video game is the first game in the series of naval simulation games. The game features 3 scenarios which consist of 5 missions each. Norway’s North Sea coast, English Channel amidst France and UK and the Mediterranean land are the three scenarios featured in the game. All the scenarios provide an open option of Delta where the player can go on hunting without any particular objective.
