Autoduel is a rendition of the classic board game Car Wars by Steve Jackson. The game integrates additional elements of action combat, driving and role-play making it a hybrid. The setting of the game is in the futuristic USA. This is a time when there are gang wars everywhere and the vigilantes run wild. The violence is so bad that the common people have to carry weapons in armored cars. As a player, you need to first earn money to actually buy a car. Once you do that you advance through the storyline by doing courier service missions. Autoduel has a storyline that can be followed loosely based on how you want to play the game. You can explore cities and highways and also take part in arena type battles for earning more money. Another unique thing you can do is customize your vehicle using additional parts like mine layers, guns, smokescreens, rockets etc. There are numerous options to customize your cars as long as you have the resources and the money required. The game allows a player to own a maximum of 8 cars. Take your time and exploring all the routes and streets before taking on a courier mission is very important to make sure you succeed in the game. In the storyline, the final end of the game is where you take down all the gangs and help the FBI make the road safe to travel once again.
