Description
B-CLOPD is an Action and adventure game, released in Germany in 2002. It was published and developed by John Trapolka Memorial Krew and released on the DOS platform.
The game features evil clones of popular video game characters such as Super Mario, Sonic the Hedgehog, Alex Kidd, and many others who have been programmed to cause
violence and destruction. The player assumes the role of Wolverine from X-men to defeat the army of clones and regain control of the land. The player can hop, jump
and run to navigate the landscape and engage in combat with the opponents. Weapons such as guns, flamethrowers, and bazookas are at the player’s disposal.
One can also engage in hand-to-hand combat. The goal is to kill as many of the opponents as possible and to avoid losing a life. With each combat, the player’s energy
meter decreases, leaving them vulnerable to environmental hazards and attacks from enemies. When the player’s energy is completely depleted, they lose a life.
The opponents too are in possession of unique weapons and strong combat skills. The player needs to be always on guard and display quick reflexes to dominate in the battles.
The landscape could be challenging at times with narrow tunnels and air bridges. The characters have been built with exteriors like ragdolls for easy navigation and flexibility.
The build also enhances acrobatic skills but makes it difficult to kill opponents. Wolverine spontaneously explodes on contact with water; hence it is to be avoided at all costs.
Power-ups and weapon upgrades are available throughout the game.
