The old DOS game, Backlash: A Turret Gunner Simulation was released in the year 1995. The action game is played from the perspective of a first person. The shooter game features the setting of future and science fiction. The video game is a clone of the game Wing commander. However, it does not feature intriguing personalities and dynamics of plot like wing commander. Experience a classic space fight with Backlash: A Turret Gunner Simulation.
Save your mothership
The three-dimensional game, Backlash: A Turret Gunner Simulation features sci-fi and action. The player has to take command over a turret hill on his spaceship. It is needed to be secured from the attacks of the enemies and their ships, meteoroids, asteroids, drones and from other dangers. The turret possesses a restricted amount of rockets and the major weapon that utilizes the same amount of energy as shields. The level of power can be assigned to the system and the assignment depends on the case. The rockets, weapons and several other power-ups can be bought using the credits which the player gets on completing the missions. Along with this, the player can upgrade his system of defense using the credits which he has earned in the course of the game.
Fight in space
The player needs to climb into his starship and defend it from the attack of the enemies. Furthermore, the player needs to manage the firepower and shield ratios in order to save energy which gets reduced due to firing while safeguarding the ship.
The decent combat game set in space sets the player on dangerous missions. Earn rewards and upgrade your weapons and ships. Head off to accomplish the objectives of the game!
