Description
Bible builder is an entertaining trivia game that revolves around the Bible. It is one of the earliest games based on the Christian community.
The educational game is a single-player that promotes enhanced Bible knowledge. It was released in 1992 for DOS platforms.
The game is in the form of a quiz with six difficulty levels.
In Bible Builder, the area is extracted from a book, and the player has to reveal the hidden Bible verse. The player reveals the secret verse
by answering questions that he gets from clicking the bookmarked pages. Each question contains a puzzle piece containing a segment of text.
After obtaining a new segment of text, the player needs to assemble the segments to form a meaningful text or verse. Now, the player has to find
the location or source of the verse, chapter, and book from the bible. The game has time restrictions, and the remaining time is denoted by the
burning down candle.
The game features optional music as hymns. The hymns are played on a classic synthesized church organ. At least, one of the questions caters around
recognizing the hymn, while the other questions are established around bible stories. The other questions may ask about the geography (such as the
places of occurrence of certain events) and general concepts. A delightful feature in the game is the on-screen helpful angel that delivers additional
information.
The trivia game is straightforward. Moreover, the gameplay varieties and graphical presentation make it stand out from the rest.
