Description
Bit-Bat is an action game published by Heigen corporation in 1982 for DOS platforms. The arcade shooter game features a flip-screen and fixed visuals
and is played from a side-view perspective.
In the shooter game Bit-Bat, the player takes command over a gun that can move along the base of the screen. The bats that flicker above the player
bombard him with some fatal projectiles. The bats have to be shot down to gain points. The points scored by the player depending on the height of the bats.
He gets an increased bonus when the bats are lower or near the base of the screen.
The other inhabitants also associate with the action. The player gets enemies similar to the spider, who are fond of dropping from the roof at warp speed.
Also, he encounters peculiar round bubbles that enlarge from left to right and gradually drop towards the floor.
The level of difficulty increases as time increases. Moreover, the count of simultaneous baddies increases along with the homing capabilities of their shots
as the game progresses. The player gets an additional gun for every 50000 points he scores.
