Description
Bob winner is an action game developed and published by Loriciel in 1986. The early action game was released for Thomson TO, Thomson MO, DOS, Commodore 64,
Atari ST, Amstrad PCW, and Amstrad CPC platforms. The game is set in an interwar theme and involves fighting. The side-view game features adventure Loriciel
elements set in the wild west US.
The player plays the character of Bob winner, who is on a mission to find the disoriented civilization in a desert. He encounters three enemies during his quest.
He has to gather three keys held captive by the three opponents or enemies. The three opponents are a gun-wielding cowboy and two boxers.
They are located in New York, London, and Paris. The player needs to find a suitable object to fight his opponents. He can get these objects from the preceding
screens. A shoe, pistol, and boxing glove would prove quite handy.
When the player obtains the three keys, he can enter the final room. The final room depicts a pre-Columbian temple. In the temple, the player is asked four
logical questions. The player can revive the civilization with his final answers.
The game features twenty screens, each with stunning background. It is a flip-screen side-view action game with hand-to-hand fighting scenes.
The player has to surpass flying insects and rolling barrels that try to hinder his progress. There are other factors too that, such as wasps, stones, swamps,
barrels, that can slow down his progress. The single-player game is played using a joystick.
