Description
Fun fact! People love a burger but not many people know how to make one. BURGER BLASTER turns people’s favorite junk food into a fun game. This simple shooting game put players inside the chef’s kitchen as ingredients of hamburgers fly all over. To play and win, players must make a burger in the right order by shooting down the corresponding ingredients.
These orders vary. Some have bread, lettuce, meat, then bread; while others could have bread, meat, lettuce, then bread. Notice the order and shoot the correct ingredient in the right way. Then players get a point. To shoot down a piece, players can control the tray between the two chefs. As the ingredients move haphazardly, at different speeds and from different directions, use the beam and shoot down the right ingredient until you make your burger correctly.
All of this culinary action transpires inside the chef’s blue kitchen represented graphically in a deep blue color. The graphics depict the shooting from a side view perspective as we can see the two chefs adjacent to each other, we can also recognize the ingredients with some details, at the bottom lies the score record and number of chances left. These are all fairly visible, but the detail is nothing to marvel at for a 1988 game.
What sets BURGER BLASTER apart from other games is how it mashes up cooking and gaming, bringing a new dimension of gameplay. Compute publications Inc. published this game in the United States in 1988 and it’s available on DOS.
