Burntime is a role-playing game that came out in the year 1993. This is an excellent option for those of you that have just started playing role-playing games. It is set in the future where the entire world is full of deserts, all cities have been burnt to the ground and the end of the human civilization seems to be near. The few surviving humans search for food and water constantly and eat whatever they can find. Like most other role-playing games the aim of the player is to have dominion over what is left of the world, have control of all the provisions and material possessions possible. The game has four other main characters with whom the fight for dominion is carried out. The status, position, and their territories are accessible to the player with the help of a map. In Burntime the player can inhabit broken down factories, camping sites and a few other ruins left over in the cities. 5 megacities are considered as the common ground, open to all players that cannot be occupied. These cities are neutral territories where fighting is also not allowed. The game has many other humans that come under categories like soldiers, doctors, engineers, etc. These people can become a part of the party. The number of items allowed to be carried by a party is 6 which is the limit for every other player. You can have a blast playing this game, with its post apocalyptic type scenario and is a good time pass for those looking for some throwback games.
