Captain Bible in the Dome of Darkness as the name may suggest is a game based on the Christian religion. The game was released by Bridgestone Multimedia in 1994. The game is set in a future time where, a city full of humans are entrapped by ""The Doom of Darkness"". This is a radical group of ""cybers"" that has enveloped the citizens of the city in a bubble filled with lies. You are Captain Bible with the help of Bible Corps gets teleported into the city through a small rift created by the Bible Corps on the Dome. You have to use the help of Bible corps and the Scripture station that they have smuggled in to confront evil cybers. You fight these evil beings by using verses from the bible and fight them with your weapons ""The Sword of the Spirit"" and ""The Shield of Faith"". The primary gameplay that you have to follow is finding lost verses that were in the Scriptures. These are scattered all across the city, you need to fight your way through the cybers to recover all the lost text. Each of the battles you face uses either the keyboard or the mouse. Captain Bible in the Dome of Darkness was released with a special focus on helping children learn the scriptures. The action game elements of the game make the experience fun, interactive and educational at the same time.
