In this underrated retro game, developed by the geniuses at Codemasters, you play as Captain Dynamo, a retired superhero, tasked with a mission to retrieve stolen diamonds from the villain, Austen Von Flyswatter. To do this, your hero will have to jump and duck his way through the vertical maze of moving platforms, spikes, chains, spinning blades, spitting lava, guillotines, evil creatures and other obstacles created by the wicked Von Flyswatter. Equipped with no weapons but his - surprising for his age! - agility and your reaction, Captain Dynamo must collect as much diamonds as possible on each level to earn you that sweet top spot in the rankings. It will not be easy, but it will feel rewarding. The game was released in 1992 for a variety of platforms, later including a mobile version as well. It features twelve meticulously designed levels with unique traps, each stage getting increasingly more challenging. Simple left-right-jump controls don’t limit the complexity of the game,but push you to time and perfect your moves with surgical precision in order to avoid imminent death.
