Description
As the name goes, this game is all about building an empire of your own. Civilization is a multi-strategy game which requires player compete with other computer operated civilizations. Filled with immense twists and craze of expanding one’s empire, this game is one stop destination for all those who like adventures and puzzles.
The plot begins with the player taking on the role of ruler of an empire. You can choose either the historical or modern era before the beginning of the play. These Civilization include Aztecs who are known for their fierce expansionist ways and wealth and other places like Mongols, Romans, and America. Along with, each has a particular historical figure, for example, M.K. Gandhi for India.
The gameplay begins in the bronze age set in 4000 B.C. and goes on till Space Age and use of future technologies. However, the player is devoid of any cities at the beginning with hardly 2 to3 settler units. The player must go on finding newer places, expand them and keep progressing to the newer era and altering terrains. The player will have to build mines, irrigation dams, connect roads, construct railroads and much more.
With the advancement of technology, newer machines, and newer advances, gives the chance to gain a brownie point against their opponent thereby going on growing the technology tree. In addition, the player is also given the opportunity of building wonders of the world in each of the eras through collections of required resources. This goes on until the player has successfully conquered all other civilizations using their wit and technology or on reaching the star system of Alpha Centauri.
Players must use their smartness and knack to surpass their computer opponents. Filled with immense thrill, adventure, and puzzles, Civilization gives the players the ultimate joy of setting their own empire and ruling the world in reel.
