Description
DOS Quadraz is a puzzle game developed by German developers, ASM software and released in 1996. It is a single-player game and
runs on the DOS platform. The gaming board is divided into 10*10 grids and covered by grey titles.
The program auto-rotates some squares in a 3*3 grid formation to jumble up the entire gaming board. The player then needs to
bring the gaming board back to its original layout with all grey tiles in limited moves. This can be achieved by clicking tiles
surrounded by 8 other titles. The ones on the edge of the board that do not meet the criteria of having 8 surrounding tiles cannot
be clicked. Clicking one tile will also flip the other eight tiles in the vicinity. The player must plan their moves accordingly
to flip all the necessary tiles and return them to their original form. The game has five stages, each more challenging than the
other. DOS Quadraz has been intelligently designed to create a gaming experience that requires logical thinking and
problem-solving skills. The higher levels will require higher concentration and more moves to solve.
The player must also strategize effectively to complete the advanced levels in a limited number of moves. DOS Quadraz contributes
to the genre of puzzle games, offering players the right amount of mental challenge and entertainment at the same time.
The game can be played using the keyboard and mouse. The game language is German. Dos Quatrez can be considered the predecessor of
Quadromania, which has a similar theme.
