Description
The player gets a chance to design his own model of automobile, rather a variety of models like off-roads, pickups, vans, sports cars etc. The game begins with the player starting a factory and meeting the distributors. It’s a Multiplayer game, where the player has to compete with other two players who can either be a human or a computer.
The player has to follow a set of rules before getting to the actual designing part. The project lifecycle involves plan layout, development, testing for safety and other compliance and release of the product. The player at the start of designing is presented with the previous month’s money ledger and records from newspaper detailing the performance of the product. At any time when the player turns bankrupt, marks the end of the game, where the gamer’s avatar jumps out of the window.
The factory has different departments, which the player can enter clicking on the screen. The department consists of Manager’s office, R&D, Design and Testing, and Sales. The player can also manage the number of employers in his factory. Detroit involves concentrating on each detail minutely and is not made for ones who lack patience. The game is praised for its intuitive use of graphic and interface covering every detail minutely.
