Description
Dragons: A Challenge in Chivalry is an action game with a fantasy theme. It is a single-player game that was released in 1986 and
runs on the DOS platform. The player is tasked with rescuing Princess Gwendolyn, who has been kidnapped by the evil emperor Peter
the Nerd and is held in an enchanted castle. Aided by a magical sword and five golden coins given to him by a noble but gentle
sorcerer, the commoner protagonist embarks on a quest to save the princess. The challenge is to deflect the golden coins off the
magical sword and hit the walls of the slimy castle with them. Each time a coin hits a brick in the wall, the brick disappears and
the coin bounces off to hit more bricks thereby hastening the release of the Princess. However, if the player fails to hit the
bouncing coin with the sword, the coin will be lost forever and they will be left with one less coin. The game will end once all
the coins are lost. while bouncing the coins off the wall, the player must also look out for enemies sent by the emperor and his
evil accomplice Merle, who will try their best to derail the process. Some of them are capable of adding more bricks, increasing
the difficulty level. The enemies can be killed with a coin, but that would result in an increase in the gaming speed making the
task more challenging. More brick walls are added as the player progresses through the game.
