Description
From corner to corner is a DOS game released in 1993. The game was published and developed
by Gamos Ltd. with a point and select interface. The strategy board game is played with
cunning tactics and features a top-down perspective. The turn-based board game is played
in pairs. It can be played by two players or four-player while taking turns.
Each player aims to maneuver all the balls from the corner of the player to the opposite
corner of the field at an increased speed than others. The ball moves a single space and
jumps over one nearest ball limitless times in all the directions (diagonal, horizontal,
and vertical). In every turn, the player chooses a single ball and shows out the destination
of the route of the ball.
From corner to corner has the option to select AI or human opponents. Also, the player can
choose any of the four difficulty levels. The game is an entertaining variant of Chinese
checkers. The motive of the game is to gather all the marbles in the colored home.
The home is located on the opposite side of the player. The player can move a single space
in any possible direction and can jump the other marble present on the board.
Similar to the regular game of checkers, the player can jump long distances if there are
enough marbles in the way. As the name suggests, when the player reaches the other corner
of the board before others do, he wins the game.
