Description
Galactic conqueror is an action game that was published and developed by Titus. It was released
in 1988 for Amiga, DOS, Atari ST, and Amstrad CPC platforms. The strategy game is played from
a behind view perspective and features space flight. The game resonates in a futuristic and
sci-fi setting that possesses shooter and arcade gameplay.
In Galactic Conqueror, the player is based in a space station termed Gallion. In the game,
as the enemy forces are about to reach the space station, the player strikes the planets that
are controlled by the enemies. The player launches strikes using the most advanced techno-toy
that is available to humans- the Thunder Cloud II (a space fighter).
The game is a combination of action sequences in pseudo-three-dimensional view. The sequences
can vary around ariel combat, space combat, and ground combat with distinct motion enemy crafts
and physics. Also, the player can choose the kind of strategic battles he wishes to
participate in on the given galactic map constructed in real-time.
The PC version of the game makes use of speaker tweaks to create the tune of the game again on
the hardware. The game can be played with only one sole player and uses a digital joystick to
be played.
Combat with the enemy forces as they reach your territory. Destroy their ships with the
advanced space fighter, Thunder Cloud II, which is one of the most developed weapons.
The game needs to be played with strategies and sharpens the player for critical thinking.
