On the 20th of September, 1519, amid intrigue and treachery, Magellan's fleet of five galleons sailed from Spain on a voyage to discover the paso - the legendary passageway to the riches of the Far East. He kept his destination a closely quarded secret - even from his captains.

Like Magellan, you'll face rebellious officers and crews, sabotage, starvation and disease, stormy seas, crippled ships, unreliable maps and unfriendly natives.
Your fate - and the course of world history - lies in your hands. In Galleons of Glory, the unknowns you face are always unknown - no matter how often you play.
Each character and situation is based on history. However, the timing and nature of events change subtly from game to game. So, like Magellan, you must evaluate each new situation on its own merits.
Start as captain of the Conception. Then advance to the Victoria.
Finally, take command of your flagship, the Trinidad. At each new level, the obstacles become greater, the crises more frequent, the action more furious.
