Gamebox is a compilation game featuring seven games. It was released in 1994 for DOS platforms.
The seven mini-games in Game box are yellow submarine, Tetris, Space invaders, Saratica-run,
Panther, Caterpillar, and bomber.
In the yellow submarine, the player portrays the character of the caption of the ship and needs
to aim at the sub-hunting planes and surface ships that release mine. At the same time, he needs
to avoid the submarines of the enemies and torpedoes. Furthermore, in Tetris, geometric figures
fall from the top of the screen and the player has to fit the pieces together. When a proper line
is formed by the figures, they disappear.
In space invaders, the goal of the player is to obtain high scores. He controls the canon
present at the bottom and destroys alien ships that advance towards him. In space invaders,
the player gets three lives. Moreover, Saratica run is basically a rally race, and the player
who comes the first wins the game.
In Panther, the player steers a tank located at the screen bottom. The enemy tanks run from
the top of the screen towards the player and attack the city. The player aims to protect the
city that is situated behind him.
In a caterpillar, the player moves horizontally and vertically and fires above.
A long caterpillar gets split into multiple smaller ones when they are shot. Bomber is a
vertical shooting game in which the player controls a B29 bomber. His mission is to destroy
the enemy bases that are guarded heavily.
