StarByte was a German company which developed and published many games, mostly strategy and simulation games and mostly for the PC and Amiga, although many of them were never translated into English. They are also famed for the platformer Rolling Ronny, the RPG Rings of Medusa, and simple action game Fly Harder, which was one of the last commercial Commodore 64 games from a significant company, although that version was never released internationally.

Description
Termed as an excellent strategy game, Hannibal provides the much-needed platform for the player who wish to be explorers. Filled with its share of action, war and some brainstorming strategies, this game doesn’t fail to kick in the level of adrenaline making one get hooked to the screens.
The story is set in the background of the Roman empire at the time second Punic war. Here the player in the role of a Carthaginian general is the commander in chief of his army. The gamer don multiple hats i.e. he plays multiple roles including that of commander, managing economy, the military troops as well as strategizing the next move. To help navigate across the Alps, the player is provided with a map, using which he has to pave his way to his destination.
In order to expand the territory of Carthage, the player has to plot political alliances with other countries like Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. The game has all the elements of a grand strategy war game, which is conceptualized in an impeccable manner. The player not only gets to don diverse roles but also gets the chance to siege cities, battle with enemies, recruit and manage army as well as spread political influence overseas.
Hannibal with its excellent plot coupled with pleasing graphics and sound effects has won the delicate of players across the globe. So, tighten your seat belts to get on the adventure-filled action journey of strategizing and winning.
