     Haunted Childhood is a pack of 4 two player head to head games. These are
Crypt Tac Toe, Guess Where???, The Last Limb and Russian Roulette. Two player
games are always best fun in group play with lots of people. Haunted Childhood
brings you disturbing horror atmosphere to these "innocent child's games".
Since game has gruesome violent graphics, it may be revolving to those of
weak stomach. Children should ask their parents' permission to play this game.

      Haunted Childhood is only game from InFluid Software that doesn't have
it's shareware version. It is also first InFluid game with Sound Blaster
digitized effects! Gruesome graphics like these are last seen in APOGEE'S DOS
classic, "Monster Bash"!

                     FEATURES & REQUIREMENTS

     - Supports VGA 640*480 gruesome graphics!

     - 80286 processor
     - DOS 3.0 or later


                    IMPORTANT ** COMPATIBILITY NOTES

1.  If you experience problems with the game's graphics, try exiting the game
    and starting it again. If the problem occurs again, reinstall your DOS,
    or if you use Windows, make a SYS disk and boot your computer from
    the system disk.

2.  If you have trouble running this game from Windows or OS/2, try running
    it straight from the DOS prompt.

3.  If you have problems with sound effects, you'll receive the proper warning
    message. it's possible your sound card isn't configured or isn't
    compatibile with DOS games.

4.  Sometimes when you interrupt game theme music, game crashes with error
    message. To avoid that, it is recomended to leave the game intro theme
    song to end (about 26 sec.). Game will crash if you interrupt theme song
    after 6 seconds of playing it.

5.  If you interrupt sounds, they may become buggy. It is best not to
    interrupt them at all. (also to avoid crashing.)

6.  Sound effects are only compatibile with Sound Blaster cards, not Adlib.
    If you don't have sound card, you'll get sound from your PC SPEAKER.

7.  If you are running this game from Windows XP and have the sound blaster
    on, it is possible that the game will "break" in the main title screen
    during the music theme (somewhere near the end). Sollution is to change
    OS compability to Win95. Just right mouse click on the main execute
    file (HNTC.EXE), properties, select compatibility and select Win95. The
    problem should be fixed.
  


                          INSTRUCTIONS

     To play the game simply type "HNTC" and press <enter>.

     To select something from the main menu simply press the first
letter of the wanted selection.

CRYPT TAC TOE: This option begins Crypt Tac Toe game.

GUESS WHERE???: This option begins Guess Where??? game.

THE LAST LIMB: This option begins The Last Limb game.

RUSSIAN ROULETTE: This option begins Russian Roulette game.

HELP: Help screens show you rules of each game, credits etc.

QUIT: Quits the game.


                     OPTIONS DURING THE GAME

Each game has it's controls and exit key.

EXIT: To exit Crypt Tac Toe game type 0 or q and you will be promped to
main menu. To exit Guess Where??? select room 0. To exit The Last Limb and
Russian Roulette press ESC key.


                            HOW TO PLAY
Crypt Tac Toe:
This is reminiscent of Tic Tac Toe. You have 3x3 board with field. Each player
puts his symbol on wanted field in his turn. 3 symbols in a row bring victory.
They can be set horizontal, vertical or diagonal.

Guess Where???:
Each player has 4 tries to guess the random door number. Whoever guesses
first, wins the game.

The Last Limb:
First, you choose your victim's weight. (for example 20). Then each player
takes maximum 3 parts from victim's body. Now, whoever takes all the last
pieces (max 3) wins.

Russian Roulette:
Each player sets the bullet for his opponent. Then, the opponent must stop
the magazine spin. If it hits the bullet's place, that player loses the
game.
