Heaven's Dawn

Heaven's Dawn is an adventure game with puzzle elements, set in a fantasy theme. The game was developed in Taiwan but later translated into English and released in Australia and Finland.
The protagonist of the game is a Painter named Jeremy who one day meets an old beggar sitting alone on the sidewalk. The beggar tells Jeremy about a deadly curse on mankind, placed by five heavenly deities who believe that humans are the root of all evil. The story leaves Jeremy spellbound, and he fails to notice that the beggar has disappeared leaving only his necklace behind. He picks up the necklace and gets immediately transformed into the magical world where most of humanity has been wiped off. Jeremy finds some remnants of the former rulers of the land, King Drew, and his daughter. He also finds some diaries with mention of the curse and how to break them. Jeremy is now the lone hero who must rid the world of the curse and find his way back home. Heaven’s Dawn is a classic point-and-click adventure. The player gets a third-person perspective through a painting on an easel. The player needs to collect objects to create an inventory. A to-do list is presented before the player as they click on the options window.
The player must use the inventory items to solve puzzles and play mini-games. As the game progresses, a traveling map is made available to the player. The player needs to follow the instructions and perform all the tasks on the to-do list to lift the curse.
