Jurassic Park

This is a very popular game released in DOS platform. It is based on the fantasy movie ‘Jurassic Park’. Amazingly, the plot uses the exact same storyline and even the names are same as in the movie. The only difference is Jurassic Park is much harder than scenes shown in the movie. Dr. Alan Grant is the sole character who plays the game. The player has to rescue Lex and Tim from the carnivore dinosaurs on the loose. After that, the final mission is to turn on the electricity and escape from the dinosaur-infested island. The game is set in the first person view and the bird’s eye view. The graphics are better than average with some degree of repeatability. The gameplay involves shooting down dinosaurs with powerful arms and ammunition like an electric cannon, time-bombs, etc. throughout the play, Grant has to find a way by shooting or blowing the raptor nests with ammunition.Jurassic Park has 6 long levels and is suited to play with a joystick. The game is not the usual simple game as many in the action series. Jurassic Park challenges the user with its tough missions and incredible action sequences, which need the effort to play. Though it is an action genre game, it involves arcade elements too like puzzles and clues. Overall, it is one of the games, which has a lovely script, a capturing gameplay and gives a satisfaction to any good player.
