Description
Mot is a mess and he makes messes all the time. Due to unexplained reasons, you suddenly have,
in your closet, a big 3-foot tall green dinosaur-looking monster, who has superpowers that allow
him to teleport and disappear in a manner of seconds.
MOT decides to secretly move in with you. At night he eats all the food in the fridge, makes
a mess in the kitchen, breaks the tables and chairs, crushes your parent's car, and then disappears.
In the morning your parent blame you for all of it and you have no reasonable defense because MOT
did what he does best; disappears. But one day, your giant monster friend doesn’t magically show up
in your closet, the kitchen remains intact, and everything remains the same in the morning.
He has wandered off into a place you don’t know and you get a distress call, mot needs your help.
As annoying as mot can be, he's your friend and you must help him.
This game follows the weird voyages of a young boy and his monster friend as the latter makes messes
and the former cleans them up. The gameplay starts with a lot of stealth as you don’t want your
parents to see Mot, and then action follows when Mot wanders into a place where you have to fight
pumpkins, grey lizards, fly jack o’lanterns, robots, and many monsters. If you stop moving Mot will
kick so you have to lead him on his crazy adventures.
The graphics in this 1989 game are fairly decent for a game on Dos, Mot's green color is vivid,
the red monsters, look evil enough, and your player's worry is written all over his face at all times.
The title screen gives a good preview of what to expect, showing you and Mot behind a huge pile of mess.
Released in the United States and Spain, Mot is available of Dos, Commodore 64, Amiga, and Amstrad CPC.
