In the game, the player plays the role of the Earl of the English manor of the medieval times. Each turn of the game represents a year of your dominion. The task of the player is to administer things wisely and take important decisions. He can attack the other kingdoms and succeed his reign over his neighborhood kingdoms. Along with this, the player needs to maintain the fertility of the soil, prevent the people from starving, and avoid a situation of the plague from arising.
What‘s in the game?
The game consists of 3 categories of subjects- nobles, peasants, and serfs. These comprise of the army and the workforce. The player needs to assign taxes, lands, provisions, and duties to these categories. The king (the player) collects the revenue or taxes from the people under his dominion. The king needs to feed the population properly and look after their interests. If the king fails to administer his kingdom properly, it might result in some clashes and revolts.
The kingdom of the player is surrounded by some strong and some weak kingdoms. The king can buy and sell land in return for grain.
