INTRODUCTION
===============================================================================
Hello and welcome to the Mickey's 123's - The BIG Surprise Party. This handy
text document will provide you with a look at what items and things you can
do in the game. As this is an educational game, it isn't very taxing as you
may expect, but it's still interesting regardless.

1. VERSION HISTORY
===============================================================================
Version 1.0 - 14/08/2004
------------------------
The first complete version of this FAQ. Everything is complete.
===============================================================================
2. GAME BASICS AND CONTROLS
===============================================================================
This section is just a look over all things in the game, such as what you have
to do, and the controls.
Controls
--------
Keyboard - The numbers on the keyboard are what you use to trigger off the
events and get items.
F1 - Toggle music on or off.
F2 - Demo Mode. To exit, press any key.
Changing Disks
--------------
When prompted, eject the current disk, insert the requested disk and press
any key to continue the game. There are only two disks anyway, so you should
be OK. :)
Demo Mode
---------
This is accessed by pressing F2, or when the game is left for a period of
time. This is where letters are selected at random and played, like a demo.
To exit, press any key.
Point of the Game
-----------------
The point of the game is to prepare for a surprise party for one of the Disney
characters by making them a present, buying the food and decorations for
the party and then inviting people to attend the party. Finally, you have
the party. You have to use the number keys for all the choices in the game,
and the events and actions that you can do can be found in the Walkthrough
(next section).
===============================================================================
3. WALKTHROUGH
===============================================================================
You will begin with Mickey sleeping in his armchair. To wake him up, type in
any number. The number you select will then trigger off a counting sheep
animation, with the number selected depicting how many sheep are counted.
Once Mickey is awake, he will announce that he has a party to prepare for.
The character this is for is selected at random, and is out of a choice of
Goofy, Daisy, Minnie, Donald, Scrooge, Horace, Clarabelle, Chip & Dale, and
Duck. Mickey will now head outside into the street, where you will reach a
signpost. This signpost has the options of where to go to, with a choice of
three. Once you have attended all three, a forth will appear underneath that
you can take to the party.
Another thing; once you have chosen your destination, you can choose the
method of transport to that place. There are 10 different ways to go, and to
select one, type in the number. Note that you can change method of
transportation several times before you get to your destination.
0 - Walk
1 - Unicycle
2 - Motorcycle
3 - Tricycle
4 - Car
5 - Car + spare tire
6 - 6 Wheeled car
7 - 6 Wheeled car + spare tire
8 - Roller Skates
9 - Truck
---------------
1 - Toy Factory
---------------
Here you will be able to get a present from a choice of nine. They are -
1 - Teddy Bear
2 - Doll
3 - Dinosaur
4 - Rocket
5 - Tractor
6 - Robot
7 - Trumpet
8 - Ball
9 - Mickey Mouse Doll
Once you have selected your present, it will then be moved onto a conveyor
belt to be made and then packaged. While it is moving along the conveyor belt
you will be able to mess around with the material (cut it up, squash it etc.)
by pressing keys 1-9. If you want to speed up the belt, hold the 0 key. At the
end of the belt the present is constructed, packaged and then given to Mickey.
You can return here again to get more presents if you wish.
----------
2 - Market
----------
Here you have to buy food and decorations for the party itself. You will go
from item to item, where you have to pick up a number of that item which you
have to select (if you want to get 2 of the item, press the 2 key and so on).
The items are Hamburger, French Fries, Apple, Milk and Balloons. The items
will then be taken to the counter to be counted off. I would get nine of each
item here to cater for everyone at the party.
---------------
3 - Post Office
---------------
This is where you invite characters to come to the party. There are eight you
can invite (one of the nine characters cannot be selected as the party is for
them).
0 - Return to signpost
1 - Goofy
2 - Daisy
3 - Minnie
4 - Donald
5 - Scrooge
6 - Horace
7 - Clarabelle
8 - Chip & Dale
9 - Duck
The invites are taken to each of the characters houses via the postman. I would
invite all eight characters to the party.
---------
4 - Party
---------
Once you have made a present, brought food and decorations and invited friends,
the Party option will appear at the signpost. Mickey will return home, put
the food in the fridge, put up the balloons (the amount put up is dependant
on how many you bought) and then the characters will arrive (again, only those
you invited will come). You will then have to give food to the characters,
and how many you give them is up to you (I would advise 1 of each item per
character). Once that is done, the party will end and the guests will leave
by dancing out the door. The game will then restart.
