MicroBucks II version 2.0
_________________________
A little electronic marvel! This is a 3-reel, 5-coin slot machine
with beautiful EGA graphics and Sound Blaster support. This game
is popular with very young children because of the lights, colors,
music, and ease of play. Adults will enjoy it because it is an
authentic simulation of a casino slot machine with a 98.9% payback.

This is another great shareware game by Ted and Diana Gruber, the
people who brought you Scramble, Klondike, Keno, and the Las Vegas
EGA Casino.
New Features in Version 2.0
___________________________
About the only new feature, besides this document, is Sound Blaster
support. If you have a Sound Blaster card you are really going to
like the new sounds effects. If you don't have a Sound Blaster, you
should consider buying one. They can generate some great sounds, and
we plan to release more games with Sound Blaster support in the future.
Some of you noticed a bug in the original version of MicroBucks II
(embarassed blush). That bug isn't in this version.
System Requirements
___________________
This game requires a computer with the ability to display EGA or VGA
graphics. A Sound Blaster card is optional.

Installing and Starting the Game
________________________________
To install Microbucks II, just copy all the files into the directory
of your choice. If you don't have a Sound Blaster card, you can
delete all the files with the ".VOC" extension. But please, if you
give this program to anybody, be sure that all the files are
included.
Type "mbucks2" to start the game. A title screen will appear, and after
a brief pause you can press a key to continue. The reason for the
pause is it takes a few seconds to load the graphics into memory.
Playing Slot
____________
Press the space bar to insert coins. You can insert from 1 to 5
coins. Each time you insert a coin, the corresponding pay bar at the
top of the screen will "light up". Press the <Enter> key to pull the
handle. If you insert 5 coins, the handle will pull automatically.
If you press the <Ins> key, you can insert 5 coins at one time.
Turn the Sound Off
__________________
The sound is one of the best things about this game. But if you
get tired of listening to the sound effects, press the <NumLock>
key to turn the sound off.
Exit the Program
________________
Press the <Esc> key to exit to DOS. If you have already registered
MicroBucks II, please ignore the message on the exit screen. If
you have not registered MicroBucks II, please consider doing so.

In return, I will send you a copy of Big Bertha! Big Bertha is
simulation of a 5-reel, 3-coin slot machine that formerly sat in the
front hallway of a major casino. It is 8 feet tall and 9 feet wide,
and it pays $50,000 on 5 sevens. It is possibly the most beautiful
slot machine I have ever created. It also supports Sound Blaster.
This is something you gotta see! Big Bertha is not available as
shareware. It is only available to registered users of MicroBucks II
version 2.0, and registered users of the Las Vegas EGA Casino version
2.0.
If you registered previous versions of either of these programs, and
you want a copy of Big Bertha, drop me a note and I will to send it
to you. $1 for postage will be appreciated, but is not required.
We have included a convenient order form in the file ORDER.FRM. You
can print this form on your printer, fill it out and mail it back to
us.

game. Features EGA graphics and mouse support. My favorite game.

EGAKENO.ZIP -- A sexy simulation of a casino keno game. EGA
graphics, mouse support, and a pretty keno runner. My most
economical game. Registration: $1.00
VEGAS20.ZIP -- The Las Vegas EGA Casino, version 2.0. This is a
collection of 3 popular casino games: video poker, a slot machine,
and blackjack. The blackjack game will be of special interest to
card counters. Version 2.0 features new graphics and Sound Blaster
support. Registration: $15.00
SCRAM11.ZIP -- Scramble, a crossword board game similar to Scrabble.
EGA graphics, mouse support, a 33000 word reconfigurable dictionary,
undo feature, multiple computer or human opponents. My most
sophisticated game. Registration: $15.00.
If you are interested in video poker games, I also have released a
commercial program, "Video Poker la Carte", published by
ComputerEasy. It features 6 popular video poker games, including
deuces wild and second chance poker. The EGA graphics are real
pretty; I used a fancy deck of playing cards from the Soviet Union.
Ask for this game at your local software store. Watch for version
2.0 of this program.
