Mom's Math

An easy-to-use and fun math program for kids age 4 to 14. Has tutorials and arcade type games. The tutorials have multiple learing levels so your child will never outgrow them. Has instruction for addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and prealgebra math.
The word to be spelled is displayed at the top center of the screen. Press the left arrow key to begin. Use the arrow keys to move the yellow bug over the letters to spell the word. Hold the ALT key to make the yellow bug go twice as fast. The green bar counts down the time allowed to spell the word. Hold either shift key or the CTRL key to capitalize all letters. Press space bar to pause the game for one second to display the word to be spelled.
If the number of clues is 0, then pressing the space bar causes play for the current word to start over. If the green bar on the left disappears, then play for the current word starts over. Bug chasers send the yellow bug back home. If there is still green bar left after the word is spelled, then the letters turn into bonus shapes and the bug chasers can be caught for extra points. Each word must be spelled correctly for the number of repetitions required before going to the next word. The number of repetitions for each word is set in the CHANGE GAME PARAMETERS section.
