Description
MONMALLINEUN TAROKBEOM is an interesting game that brings action and stealth from a 2d cartoon
perspective.
You play as an unlucky man who gets arrested for violating a traffic light and sentenced to jail
time.
His escape is your mission in this 1996 game made and published by Taff System in South Korea.
Its illustrations are cartoonish but with some creativity in the setting. The colors are bright,
the images are smooth, and the motion is seamless. The dynamics of the game adds realism to the
action with effects like blood spatter, falling, and your character's reaction to damage.
Your lead's story begins outside the movie theater, where he just finished watching one of his
favorite movies. As he makes his way home, he accidentally violates traffic and instantly gets
caught, beaten, and thrown in jail.
The action begins in Jail, where your protagonist makes his first daring move to escape. Passing
through tunnels, hanging on pipes, hiding behind walls, avoiding guards and their searchlights,
and doing everything to remain hidden and not be detected by the guards adds a lot of stealth to
this game.
But fans of combat get consolation in the second part of the game, where everything is pure action,
punches, high kicks, flying kicks, and many combos make up the survival toolkit for your lead
character. MONMALLINEUN TAROKBEOM was released on Dos and bears some resemblance with popular games
like Prince of Persia in terms of gameplay, action, and fun.
With such fun activities and good graphics to match, this game will not leave its players bored.
