Description
Previously known as Heavy Metal Truck, Monster Truck Madness as the name goes is a racing game released by Microsoft. It was created by Terminal Reality for Windows 95 version. Monster truck game series is filled with crashing, racing and lots of action. The players are given the opportunity to choose amongst 12 monster trucks. Later on, they are made to compete with the AI generated players. The player has to go through four stages namely drag, Circuit, rally (racing) and the final tournament. As of any monster games, Monster Truck Madness also allows the users to compete with other human players other than AI players through DirectPlay method. Excellent graphics, nerve wrecking actions, new trucks and the addition of new weather conditions make the game a pleasure to the eye and raises the pitch of action. Its latest version released in 1998 provides the players with a much improved and upgraded interface. Known for its adventurous streak, Monster truck has through all its versions won the minds of the players. It was also nominated in 1996 as Computer Games Strategy Plus for Racing Simulation of the year award. Monster Truck has been rated a 7.4-star rating at GameSpot.
