Description
Nitro is an action game designed in an Arcade style. It was released in the United States in 1997. The game is available on the DOS platform.
Nitro was developed and published by PLBM games, based in California who have developed many other PC games.
Nitro is an arcade style game that resembles Pac man. The game can be played either in the campaign mode or combat mode and up to 5 players.
The gameplay is similar to Pac man where the player needs to navigate a maze-like space while avoiding enemies. Coming in contact with the
enemies will make the player lose a life. The player also has to make his way through the blocked pathways by blowing up the obstacles.
The player needs to make use of the bombs to clear the passageway and move towards the exit. The maze is a square space, in green and grey colors.
The enemies are ghost like creatures wearing a blue robe and floating around in the passageway. There are limited number of bombs available, so
the player must use them carefully and judiciously to avoid running out while stuck in an enclosed space. The player also has a limited number
of lives, that are indicated at the top of the screen. In the combat mode, the game becomes more challenging when the player competes against
another player. Both need to make their way towards the centre of the screen and then engage in combat. The Player needs to win two combat levels
to win the game. There is a time limit to each level, and is indicated at the top of the screen.
