Nyet 3: The Revenge of the Mutant Stones is a puzzle game, that is a play on the classic game of Tetris. The player needs to arrange falling blocks in order of color and shape to make them disappear. However, Nyet 3 gives this classic gameplay a slight twist by letting the player earn money after successfully completing a level. There are also many powerups of different functionalities that make the game far more interesting. The game offers 7 sets with 18 levels each. However, the player can choose to play them in any order. Each level varies greatly from the next; some levels feature invisible blocks while others have challenges in the form of snakes that need to be trapped. At one level there are spontaneously appearing iron blocks that cannot be destroyed by completing rows. Some levels have diamonds and collecting them gives the player a chance to earn more money. The amount of money that is earned after completing every level depends greatly on the difficulty level and how well it was played. The money can be exchanged for power-ups of which there are plenty of options. They vary in functionality and nature; some of them could be permanent like monitors to view the next block, while others provide benefits only for a limited time. There are bombs that can destroy the blocks or a fork to trap a snake that appears on some levels. One of the power-ups lets the player save the game. Nyet 3 can be played by 1 or 2 players, using the keyboard. This highly entertaining game was released in 1993 and runs on the DOS platform.
