Software 2000 was a German game publisher and developer that became one of the biggest German game companies in the 1990s.
Software 2000 was founded 1987 in Eutin (a small town in Schleswig-Holstein) by brothers Andreas and Marc Wardenga. They produced and published games for Amiga, Atari ST, PC and later on for Gameboy Color and the Playstation.

Description
If you are feeling out of touch with some serious gaming, then let's shake that mind to play an exciting trading game that could make you stick to the chair for quite some time, Ocean Trader. Like the name suggests it deals with shipment and trade. You are a manager at a Global Shipping company and you have to trade across the world.
Being a trader, you have to be careful in this game while making your moves so that you don't have to face any failures. Initially, you are given small ships but as the game moves on to the later stages, you could design your ships. You have to trade across around 100 harbors with around 30-32 different goods. For your business to be successful you need to trade the goods in the towns where you get it for the least price and you could also need to face dangers like a storm, UN ban and all.
Ocean Trader is a game with a user-friendly graphics that is done with beautiful static images. It’s really a good simulation game for all those serious gamers who like to trade and have fun at the same time and is worth trying for the newbies too.
