Description
Operacja Glemp is an adventure game based on the political scenario of Poland in the 90s. The game was developed by Jake Soft and released in 1996 in Poland.
Operacja Glemp brings to light the political turmoil in Poland during the year 1996, with some embellishments and slight modifications. The game is set in Kuria,
which houses the headquarters of a dangerous mafia gang. A rival mafia gang called Bishops black mafia has taken control of Poland under the leadership of gang
leader Glemp. The government of Poland is under constant threat due to these mafia gangs who have deployed special militia gangs to target high-profile government
officials. These anti-social elements have almost brought all daily operations to a complete halt causing serious damage to the economy of Poland.
Religious fanatics have taken control of all state institutions and unleashed a reign of terror throughout the country. The player assumes the role of a guerrilla
fighter whose objective is to break out of prison, steal a lot of money, kill some high-profile people, and ultimately blow off the mafia headquarters. The ultimate
objective is to kill Glemp and two clergymen, whose deaths are essential for life in Poland to return to normal. The game is a point-and-click system and can be
played with the mouse. The player can click the left button on the mouse to acquire information about certain objects and click on the right button to select.
A wrong selection can lead to instant death. There are obstacles every step of the way in the form of enemies or bio-weapons deployed in random places. The game
language is Polish.
