Description
Experience exciting water combats with PHM Pegasus. The ship simulation game, PHM Pegasus is an old video game released in the year 1986. The action video game got its name from the Pegasus-class hydrofoils, the USS Pegasus which was used by the navy of the United States in the 1970s. The action game is played from a first person’s perspective and features naval and watercraft.
The missions of PHM Pegasus
The action video game consists of 8 distinct missions in which the player convoy ships maneuver helicopters, patrol hydrofoil crafts to survey the areas, escort ships which are friendly and clear the areas of ships of the enemies. The missions are set at the Eastern Mediterranean, the Persian Gulf, The Gulf of Sidra and the Caribbean.
In the game, PHM Pegasus, the player takes command on three kinds of vehicles to accomplish the missions of the game. The vehicles which are assigned to the player are PHM, Seahawk helicopters, convoy ships, and Seasprite. The former two missions are time-bound in which the player finds the crafts of enemies and sink them. The rest of the missions are seek-and-destroy, surveillance, and the last two missions are escort missions.
Accomplishing the missions successfully
When the player completes the mission of the game, he earns some points. The amount of points, which the player earns, is based on the status of success of the mission. The rank of the player in the game increases with the points, which he has earned. The player can reach the position of the head or admiral using those points. However, the performance of the player in one mission is not going to have any effect on the later missions.
