Description
Real Fighter is an Action video game that was released in 1995 on the DOS platform. The game was developed by X-tec and published
by Nesco.
To play the game, the player needs to fight and defeat his opponent. It can be played by one or two players. The player has the
option to fight a computer-generated opponent or another player. The game starts with an introduction of each of the fighters and
a snippet of their fighting style. The characters are diverse and there is a mixture of Asian and caucasian ethnicities.
The fighting style is mostly a mixed martial arts style with some Kungfu influence. The player then gets to choose their fighter
and the mode; Play against the computer or Play against another player. Once the fight begins, points are awarded for each hit the
player makes on their opponent, and points are deducted each time the player gets hit by the opponent. The goal is to knock out
your opponent the maximum number of times or throw them outside the fighting arena, which would be awarded a ring-out. One has
to win every level in order to advance to the next one. The graphics and the background music change with each opponent.
Scores are displayed on the top of the screen. Each level has 3-4 bouts. Getting knocked out twice or being thrown out of the ring
two times in a row will end the level. The game is also known as 리얼파이터 in Korean, which translates to Real Fighter.
