Description
Realm of the Paladin Deceptions Plague is an adventure role-playing game, set in a fantasy theme. The game was developed and
published by Cavalier software and released in 1995. It runs on the DOS platform.
To play the game, the player assumes the role of a hero who has ventured into a mysterious land. Upon arrival, he finds that
beyond the peaceful exterior there is a dark secret lurking. Evil demons have stolen the talisman which had magical properties
and gave the village protection against evil forces. After getting acquainted with the village elder, The hero sets out to defeat
the demons and retrieve the talisman. The game offers a very large area to explore and many non-playing characters to interact with.
There are also battles to fight. Realm of the Paladin Deceptions Plague is set in the medieval period and the main character is
wearing an armor and carries a sword to fight with. However, In order to retrieve the talisman the player would need to seek out
and use other weapons during his quest. The objects are displayed on the screen's left bottom corner, while the health and faith
are displayed in the top left corner. The game view is top-down with a third-person perspective. The graphics of the game are of
fairly inferior quality, making it difficult to identify objects and characters. However, it is a modest attempt at creating a
detailed RPG game and could be entertaining to classic RPG game enthusiasts.
