Description

Secret of The Silver Blades is another brilliant Forgotten Realms RPG game from Strategic Simulations. Your primary goal is to locate the source of the mysterious hordes of monsters terrorizing the local people. Many seek to impede your efforts, such as deadly red dragons. There are also other forces who will aid you. The well of knowledge will give you many clues. Some of those clues will lead you to the dark and monster infested depths while others will reveal the true evil plans. Don't worry about your reward, along your path, you will recover a vast sum of gold and helpful items.

8/20/2012 8:08:00 PM - HAB I think I am just giving up. It shows the characters with the option to add them but it want add them. Thank for your efforts. From what I read online it did not work right in the original either.

8/20/2012 2:44:00 PM - FreeGameEmpire I have tried Pools -> Curse, which worked fine, but still wasn't able to import anyone from Curse -> Secret. At the end I discovered that this time it's a bit tricky :-) if you load your last game in Curse and select "remove character" character_name.GUY is created in Curse/SAVE. If you move this .GUY to Secret/SAVE, character importer will find it.

8/20/2012 2:05:00 PM - HAB Yes, thanks foe the help. I found the saves but Curse and Secret use different character files. There is an option to use Curse characters which doesn't work when you copy the files directly to secret~1\save. It apparently looks for some other path. If I knew what path I would make one and put the character files from curse in it.

8/20/2012 9:53:00 AM - FreeGameEmpire Hi, well maybe the exact path may differ between several distributions... The saves should be placed to the same directory which already contains save files (should be SAVE directory). If you have no success, I'll take a look at this when I have some time.

8/20/2012 1:06:00 AM - HAB I have located the game file which are not exactly where your FAQ claims they are. I left out a dir "roaming" in the mix somewhere. The character files for the two games are different. It has the option to use Curse characters but I have no idea what directory it is looking in. Any ideas?

8/13/2012 8:49:00 AM - FreeGameEmpire HAB: Currently, the only way to import saves is to copy them manually. In the FAQ section, there is the location of your games on your HDD. Moving the saves from one game to another should help. But I suggest to make a backup first. Delete the game if you mess something up, it will be downloaded automatically next time.

8/12/2012 7:18:00 PM - JK I have completed Pool and Curse, but for some reason, the save feature on this one is requesting a save disk and I cannot figure out how to bypass the request. Any ideas?
