Description
Space Quest: The Lost Chapter is one of the many games in the Space quest universe. The plot is a spin-off from the original Space quest and takes place somewhere between
Space quest II and Space quest III. The game was released worldwide in 2001 and runs on the DOS platform. It was written by a person that goes by Monster D Vonster.
The player assumes the role of the space quest hero, Roger Wilco who is aimlessly wandering in space after Space Quest II. Suddenly his spaceship slams into the soft soil
of a jungle floor. The area seems thick with vegetation. Wilco wonders how his ship landed in an unknown atmosphere without hitting anything on the way or his spacecraft
bursting into flames. After landing he wonders what he should do now and climbs out of his spacecraft to inspect this unknown land. Apart from the flora and fauna he comes
across several unknown creatures running around. Roger spends his time climbing trees, fishing, swimming, and inspecting marine life. On inspecting more Roger comes across
a sunken spaceship. He then realizes the danger and wonders what else lurks around in the deep forest. He now needs to find a way to get off this strange planet.
As he ventures further, all his fears are proven true when he discovers monsters and other dangerous enemies. Robert must safeguard himself from being eaten alive by the
monsters or being crushed by the tentacles of an enormous snake and also solve puzzles to advance further in the game and find his way out of the planet.
