Description
The game was released in 1992 by a German developer named Kaiko in the United States. He worked for a company
called Amiga and launched the game on the platform DOS. The company was disbanded shortly. The game is a puzzle
or what is known as a strategy game and is a loose combination of two older games of the same company called
Bomberman and Gem’X. There are a lot of levels in the game and anime visuals that make the game interesting.
The game was never released officially on any platform.
To play the game, you need to get the gems using bombs and matching coloured gems. There are blocks of different
colours and to increase the challenge there are enemies roaming in the blocks. The player needs to push the gems
of matching colours together which will make them disappear to earn the gems. The enemies can be killed using gems.
When the player has collected all the gems in a level, they move to the next one. Initial levels are simple but
as one goes higher, the challenge increases. The player would need to strategise their moves or they might end
up moving their block to a place from where it cannot move further. There are three bombs and three lives given
to each player and the player needs to make sure that the Bomberman does not get himself killed with the bombs.
The bombs act as powerups and it's inspired by what we do in real life for mining gems, bombing.
The game has rather colourful visuals and funky music.
