Description
SuperSki III is the third game in the Skiing trilogy. It comes after SuperSki I and SuperSki II. Super Ski III is also known
as SuperSki Pro. It was developed and released by Microids in 1994. The game operates on the DOS platform. SuperSki III boasts
of significant graphical improvement over the previous two games in the series.
As evident from the name, SuperSki III is a skiing game. There is a Skiing tournament that takes place in different parts of the
World. The game offers three modes - Practice, where the player competes in the events one at a time, Medal competition, Where
a player can challenge opponents in all the events at the same time and win medals, and the Time/points competition where the
player can set a time limit to challenge opponents in all events or challenge their opponent to reach a certain point range.
The player can practice in any event before the tournament begins, and compete against other players. To win, the player needs
to stay on the correct path and avoid obstacles. Colored flags appear on the path which helps the player stay on the correct
route. Also, The correct technique needs to be followed on the Ski jumps. The game provides a third-person perspective, which
shows the player from behind. The only exception is the Ski Jump where the camera can be rotated to provide a side-view.
The game provides the option to adjust the difficulty level. A player can also save the progress of the game and continue where
they left off at a later time.
