TAXI RUN DIRECTIONS

OBJECTIVE
Your objective is to pick-up and drop-off as many customers as
possible and return to the taxi stand at the end of the shift.
GAME PLAY
The game begins with a city consisting of a 9X9 grid of street
intersections. Bridges leading off one edge of the city re-enter
on the opposite edge. Moving the mouse arrow causes the game area
to scroll. The taxi will warm up briefly and then start driving.
Left-clicking on intersections causes them to rotate clockwise.
You must create a path for the taxi to reach customers and drop
them off. After dropping off all 5 customers on a level, you can
earn a new taxi by returning to the taxi stand.
COMPLETING LEVELS
In order to proceed to the next level, you must reach the
designated dollar goal. You may also be required to complete a
specified number of drop-offs to proceed to the next level. You
will be awarded a bonus level after every 3 levels.
MAP
There is a map of the city at the top of the screen that will help
you locate the next pick-up or drop-off quickly.
HINTS
Turbo mode is automatically turned off when a pick-up, drop-off,
or Town Hall is reached. Use turbo once you have prepared the
taxi's route for extra points. Right clicks switch between the
game area and menu (pausing the game).
MENU
The mouse buttons on the left side of the game board can be accessed
at anytime during the game.
MODEL : Change the taxi's model.
SPEED : Change the game speed.
TURBO : Speed up the taxi.
All points are doubled.
SOUND : Switch the sound ON/OFF.
SCORE : Display the top 10 score list.
HELP : Display the Taxi Run help.
PLAY : Start a new game or
resume the current game.
QUIT : Quit Taxi Run.
This Unregistered version of Soleau Software's Taxi Run allows for
5 levels of play plus one bonus level.
* NOTE WINDOWS USERS *
Running Taxi Run from Windows may cause unexpected results. The
game should be played by loading it directly from the Dos prompt.
