Description
Tequila & Boom Boom is an action and adventure game, developed by Dynabyte and published by Sacis. It was released in Italy in 1995.
The game runs on the DOS platform. The entire game is animated, resembling a Disney movie.
Tequila & Boom Boom is a nice, classic game, with many interesting animations and an interesting storyline. The storyline of the game is
inspired from Western movies, set in the 19th century. It features a small country town, which is ruled by an evil character called Mr. Vyle.
The entire town lives under Mr. Vyle's tyranny and desperately need some respite from his cruel ways. There are two main protagonists
in the game, named Tequila and Boom Boom. Melissa, a country belle, plays the love interest, who is also in a lot of debt.
The other important characters are the bar keep and bank teller. The game starts with Tequila entering the town on his horse, accompanied by
music resembling a 70s western movie. He stops at an inn and hears about Mr. Vyle and his reign of terror. A map of the town is shown in the
next frame. Things take a sharp turn when Tequila lays his eyes on the pretty Melissa, but is informed that she is Mr. Vyle's property and
thus out of his reach. Tequila then sets out to defeat Mr. Vyle so he could be with Melissa, in turn ridding the town of Vyle's reign of terror.
Tequila is later joined by Boom Boom to assist in the task. The game consists of puzzles and mini games like shooting and cards.
