Description

Trek originated about six years ago as a zoo based, hardware independent game. The original goal was to design a program to act as an intermediator for two human players using the computer to replace a game board. I feel that the ultimate game will not be man against machine but man against man using a cpu as the playing field. This game is the result of hundreds of hours of constant refinement to make skill and strategy the main factors in determining the winner. This game is not finished. As long as other players make suggestions on improvements, I will continue to try to implement them. I hope this is only the first in a series of two-player modem-based computer games.
