VW Sharan: Pack 'n Puzzle

VW Sharan: Pack 'n Puzzle is a puzzle game that was released by Volkswagen as a promotion for first generation Volkswagen Sharan. The game was developed by Advergames. It was released in 1995 in Germany and runs on the DOS platform.
Compared to other promotional games of the time, VW Sharan Pack 'n Puzzle is comparatively well-made and entertaining. The player is given a bunch of items, which they need to fit inside a red Volkswagen Sharan. Needless to say it’s going to take some adjusting and that’s where the puzzle element comes in. Some of these objects can be combined with each other to save space, for example a baby and a pram can be combined. So can boxes and toys.
The objective of the makers is to demonstrate how much stuff can be accommodated inside the car, making it a perfect choice for big families. The game offers five levels, each with the same gameplay but different objects. The game starts with the introduction of Luzi, who is the owner of the car. Luzi goes driving around town to show off her new car and picking up passengers for rides. The first passengers of the car are a family of four and a dog, after a big shopping trip. Once all the objects are combined and accommodated inside the car, along with the passengers, the car set out on it’s journey towards the destination. Once the passengers are dropped off, Luzi is back on the road, looking for the next set of passengers.
