West Adventure

West Adventure is an action game released in 1994 by Panda Entertainment Technology Co., Ltd. The game can be played on the DOS platform, and the game language is Chinese.
West adventure is based on an old literary text which narrates the story of a Chinese monk and his pilgrimage to India. He is accompanied by his friends, a tortoise, a monkey, and a pig. However, these are not ordinary animals, they all have superpowers and unique abilities. As a team, they fight off the various enemies enroute to India. The game can be played by one or two players. At the start of the game, the player gets the option to play as the pig, monkey or the monk. The player can jump, skip, hop and use their weapons to fight off the enemies, which could be burly men sprayed with bright colors or bigger demons with more dangerous weapons. There are bosses at each level that are extremely difficult to defeat. The action sequences occur in different settings, in open fields, inside a cave, in a thick jungle, etc. The enemies are armed with weapons such as swords and daggers. The player is armed with one weapon depending upon the character they choose to play with. Points are awarded for defeating each enemy. West Adventure has extremely good graphics, with anime characters. The choice of colours resembling the lush landscape of India is a smart choice towards making the game visually appealing. The two-player mode of the game is known to be more entertaining than the single-player mode.
