Description
Wild Learning Safari is an educational game developed and published by Compton's NewMedia. It was released in 1992 and runs on the DOS platform.
Wild Learning Safari tries to nurture creativity in pre-schoolers while familiarizing them with different animals and wildlife.
The game is designed to be an interactive coloring book where the children need to color the different objects and animals appearing on the screen
as per instructions. The player can select from a variety of settings and backgrounds. There are also options to automatically color the whole scene
by merely choosing colors for each section. The player can also add animations, stickers, and word balloons to the scene. A wide color palette is
available to choose from, which can not only keep the kids engaged for hours but also satisfy the perfectionists in them. The kids can undo a
particular color if they are unhappy with the result. The finished pictures can be saved or printed out to be displayed on the fridge as proud
accomplishments of their young lives. Although limited in features, this game can do a far better job of keeping children engaged for longer hours
and save the parents hours of cleaning time from the mess created by physical coloring books and dozens of crayons. Wild Learning Safari is a humble
attempt towards entertaining the kids and also creating a non-threatening learning environment. It is sure to be a hit among children, particularly
the ones having artistic abilities and interests. The game can also be used as a learning aid for children with early signs of attention deficit.
